What is a Beacon Score?
This is just another name for a credit score. A beacon score is specific towards Equifax's credit score. The score is based only on whatever data is in their credit file and records.
A beacon score is also known as an Emperica Score or FICO score. Lenders typically require the credit score as a way to measure your credit and help determine how much of a risk you are when you are borrowing money.
